About The Little Barn
This historic building, with its high ceilings and characterful timber beams and roof trusses, has been tastefully converted to provide everything needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay.
Inside is a cosy, open-plan living space with a comfortable double bed, sofa and dining area. There is also an en-suite bathroom with a large shower.
The well-equipped kitchen area has a fridge-freezer, microwave, mini oven/air fryer, kettle and toaster. It has everything you need for simple meals, breakfast and refreshments during your stay. Please note that there is no hob.
Modern comforts include fast Wi-Fi, a 40-inch television, satellite receiver and USB charging points beside the bed.
You have your own private entrance, so you can come and go as you please. There is also generous off-road parking for two cars, a large van or even a motorhome.
Outside, there is a small private seating area where you can enjoy a morning coffee or evening drink. Although the main garden is private, we’re happy for your four-legged friend to have a quick stretch and sniff.
After a busy day, you can enjoy Kilsby’s two excellent dog-friendly pubs, both serving delicious food, while the community-run village shop provides everyday essentials.
There are also excellent countryside walks directly from the village, making The Little Barn an ideal dog-friendly haven.
Ideal Location for Events, Business and Exploring
The Little Barn in Kilsby is a popular choice for visitors attending events at Silverstone Circuit, Onley Grounds Equestrian Complex and the Crick Boat Show.
Its excellent road links (M1, M6, A5) also make it convenient for contractors, professionals working locally and guests visiting friends and family in the area.
Kilsby’s location, close to the borders of Northamptonshire, Warwickshire and Leicestershire, gives you three counties to explore. Rugby and Daventry are just a short drive away, with Lutterworth, Market Harborough, Northampton and Coventry also within easy reach.
There’s plenty to discover in every direction, from countryside walks, canals and pretty villages to historic houses, excellent pubs, independent restaurants and great days out.
Further afield, you can explore the Cotswolds or visit Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick.

Parking
Off road parking is provided for two cars. For vehicle security there is a camera on the driveway.
Heating
In the colder months the Little Barn is heated with electric heaters. As most of our guests are out and about during the day, the heaters are programmed to come on in the morning (7-10am) and evening (5-10.30pm) at 20 degrees.
For the rest of the day and over night the heating is on a maintenance temperature.
If you require the heating to be on for longer or at a higher temperature, please discuss your needs with us prior to your arrival, as there may be an additional charge. Thank you for your understanding.
Dog Friendly
We’re very happy to welcome up to two dogs at The Little Barn. We simply ask that you bring your own throws to protect the furniture and remove any dog hairs from the Barn before you leave. A vacuum cleaner is provided. The garden is secure and primarily for the private use of the hosts, but four-legged guests are, of course, welcome to pop out for those essential emergency wees!

To help make your stay as comfortable as possible – and to keep things running smoothly for everyone – we kindly ask that you take note of these friendly reminders:
- Care for the Space: Please leave the barn as you found it
- Respect our neighbours: please keep noise to a minimum after 10pm and before 8am.
- Smoking and vaping is not permitted inside the barn
- No visitors or additional guests are allowed
- We request that guests with dogs bring their own throws to cover the furniture and clean up pet hair (hoover provided).
- Please ensure to book the correct number of guests as this determines the number of towels provided.
- Due to our cleaning schedule we are unable to offer early check in or late check out.
- Please ensure you have adequate travel insurance as we are unable to provide a refund for unforeseen events which result in a late cancellation.
- The heating is monitored and controlled remotely by the hosts. Please do not attempt to change the settings as this will potentially disable the heating and its complex schedule. Please see notes in additional information about the heating settings.
